The work

This is the hardest job there is.

You work where the system runs out of patience. A young person arrives already certain they're the problem, and your job is to convince them they're not. So you meet them on the worst day of their week, and you stay. You learn their tells, their triggers, the one adult they'll actually talk to. You carry it home. And slowly, sometimes, something turns.

You're some of the best people we have ever met. And almost none of you believe you're doing it well enough.

The gap
